If you suffer from a chronic condition that causes pain or fatigue then it is reasonable to find the skills and tasks of daily healthy living challenging. This can be especially frustrating when you are told (quite correctly) that self-management through movement, good food, sleep quality and stress management is the key improving the symptoms of pain, fatigue, depression and anxiety.
You might be struggling to find the time or the energy to work at improving your health-habits, or feel like every recommendation is so far removed from your reality that its just not possible.
You might have been left "up in the air" with recommendations and no follow-through. Or completed a course of support and are wondering where to go next - too well for treatment, not ready to go it alone - I can help.
I have extensive experience coaching people with chronic pain. I use an evidence based approach of movement, nutrition, targeted recovery and mindset. I am always led by my client, we work together to find what is best for you.

It is a key part of my job as a coach to discover my clients' barriers to health and support them in overcoming them. Sometimes those barriers are things like a lack of a routine that fits, a dislike of exercise after a bad PE class experience at school, eating for reasons other than hunger or an old injury. For a few the barrier might be pain, constant exhaustion or fear of making things worse.
I understand and respect those limitations, and I want to help you find your way past them.
I am not offering a cure or therapy - I will refer clients to appropriate health professional where necessary - I am offering a safe, appropriate way to access skills and routines for general health and wellbeing, taking your medical needs into account as I do with every client. However people I have worked with report that getting all their wellbeing "ducks in a row" and gently building momentum, has made an enormous difference in their ability to have a great quality of life, despite their condition.
As a person with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Fibromyalgia, I have spent my lifetime trying to find ways to move better, eat better and take care of myself so as to relieve my symptoms.
As a health coach I have been able to apply my lived experience to my specialist fitness, lifestyle and nutrition training to support others in similar circumstances.
For several years I have worked in public sector healthcare, as a leader in community and lifestyle based pain management, training practitioners, designing programmes, spreading awareness and, most importantly, helping hundreds of people from all walks of life, to live better with persistent pain.
I'm committed to helping you find your healthiest, happiest self.
